The course consists of a 25 mile loop run on Forest Service roads and trails including parts of the Arizona Trail in the Santa Rita Mountains. It starts and ends at the historic mining site of Kentucky Camp, elevation 5142 ft. The highest point on the course is at Jerry’s Pass at 6232 ft. Terrain is rolling, with rocky, rutted ascents and descents where you don’t need them.

Time limits are 7 hours for the 25 mile event, 15 hours for the the 50 mile event, and 24 hours for the 75 mile event.
